I have a new blog! I had been posting my photos on my other blog,
Just Keeping the Ends Tied, but I decided I want that blog to go back to what I originally intended. A place to jot down my thoughts about homeschooling, homemaking, crafting, well in general, life! Therefore, I needed a different place to post my photography because those posts tend to take over my blog. Thus the birth of this blog! And for my first post, a sweet shot ;o)

On Sunday the rain stopped and the sun decided to make a brief appearance (while I was in the middle of making dinner!). I ran out side with my camera hoping to get a shot of the sun shining through the water droplets left on the forsythia out front. I only managed ONE shot before the sun ducked back behind the clouds. And this is it. I would have loved to have had a little more time to play with angles and framing, but, in Oregon, you have to take what you can get, lol.
I snapped this shot a couple of weeks ago. We were taking a long road trip and caravaning with my mother (and her dog). We stopped at a small park, in a very small town, in the middle of nowhere to let the kids run around. My 1yo was getting a kick out of watching the dog chase after the ball, so when she dropped it, she picked it up to throw it for her. It obviously didn't go very far, but the dog obliged her by chasing after it anyway. They played for several minutes before the 1yo got tired, lol.
